Historics firmly on the map with opening of a second office

The specialist classic and sports car auctioneer Historics at Brooklands, has emphasised its growing reach and breadth of appeal by opening a second regional office in the UK.

Following its fourth successive £1million+ sale in September, Historics - hosting quarterly auctions at the world-famous birthplace of British motoring, Brooklands - is eager to build upon its success, and will now operate a resource catering specifically for enquiries from the South West of England and Wales.

Funded solely by private investment since its formation in March 2010, Historics has become firmly established within the classic car auction firmament, and is currently accepting consignments for its eleventh sale, on Saturday November 24th.

Managed by a team of dedicated classic car experts and enthusiasts, with an unrivalled range of experience across many areas of the automotive industry, Historics has long championed its position as a truly inclusive auction house

With Historics demonstrating its global reach, having sold vehicles into Europe, the U.S, the Far East and Australasia, the addition of a second UK office is a sign that the auctioneer remains as committed as ever to catering for customers closer to home.

Overseeing the new office, John Williams - the auctioneer's classic British and Italian car aficionado - has built a reputation over many years for finding and bringing exceptional quality motor cars to the classic car market place and is ideally positioned to discuss the benefits, such as competitive commission rates as well as a 14 day payback guarantee, of buying and selling at auction via Historics.

Commenting on the latest business developments, Historics' Auction Director Edward Bridger-Stille explained; "Whilst our head office is well equipped to handle any enquiry, our new facility will provide another base from which we can visit potential customers, who in turn, can be rest-assured that they have an expert in the field nearby, to answer any question or query they may have regarding the sale or purchase of a classic vehicle.

"For too long, the 'auction experience' has been seen as 'exclusive', and we're eager to look further afield and extend a warm welcome to an even greater number of potential customers", he concluded.

To discuss the sale or purchase of a vehicle or automobilia at the forthcoming sale on Saturday November 24th, or one of the four auctions scheduled for 2013 soon to be announced, interested parties in the South West of England and Wales should contact John Williams on 01380 812862, or e-mailjw@historics.co.uk.
