Brooklands Motor Museum

Brooklands Road , Weybridge , Surrey , KT13 0QN

The world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit, constructed at Weybridge, Surrey in 1907, is more than a great sporting arena. Brooklands was the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation, home of Concorde and the site of many engineering and technological achievements throughout eight decades of the 20th century.

Although the outbreak of war in 1939 saw the end of racing on the legendary Circuit, Brooklands maintained its position as the home of pioneering aviation development until British Aerospace ended aircraft production there in 1987. The Brooklands Museum Trust was formed that same year and continues to preserve the spirit and traditions of this unique heritage today.
